PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Tenda TEG1124P-24-250W is an unmanaged Gigabit switch that can be desktop or rack mounted and features 24 RJ45 ports that can deliver up to 30-watt PoE (802.3af) per port with a massive overall PoE budget of 224 watts, making it perfect for medium to large scale surveillance systems. 6KV Lightning Protection Due to their very nature, CCTV cameras tend to be installed outside and in elevated positions, which increases the chance of lightning strikes that can cause irreparable surge damage to both the camera and the switch. The TEG1124P-24-250W features professional 6KV lightening protection on each port to protect the switch in the event of unexpected power surges, and provides a stable service to the surveillance network and transmission of the picture. Operation Modes The Tenda TEG1124P-24-250W has a DIP switch which allows you to select among the CCTV, Standard, VLAN, and Isolation modes. This helps to prevent broadcast storm and defend against DHCP spoofing. switch can communicate with each other. CCTV: the port cache is optimised and PoE ports 1-8 have higher priorities over the other ports. All the ports of the switch can communicate with each other. VLAN: ports 1 to 22 are isolated from each other, but can communicate with ports 23 and 24(uplink ports) respectively. Isolation: ports 1 to 12 and Ports 13 to 24 belong to two different VLAN. This mode can be used to isolate supervision network and wireless network to make them not interfere with each other. |
