PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Planet IGS-4215-8P2T2S is a robust industrial Ethernet switch that delivers performance without compromises. Along with 8 PoE+ enabled Gigabit RJ45 device ports there are 2 Gigabit RJ45 and 2 Gigabit SFP up-link ports to ensure lightning fast data transfers from device to server. Intelligent PoE to Power you Devices The Planet IGS-4215-8P2T2S has 8 PoE+ (802.3at) enabled RJ45 device ports that can deliver up to 30 watts of power on demand to an attached PoE powered device. The IGS-4215-8P2T2S has an overall power budget of 240 watts ensuring every port can deliver as much power as required. Another feature of the Planet IGS-4215-8P2T2S is PoE device check that monitors attached PoE devices and reboots them if they become unresponsive. The Planet IGS-4215-8P2T2S is designed to be robust and reliable and can operate at temperatures from -40 up to 75 degrees Celcius. The tough metal housing and DIN rail mounting options make the Planet IGS-4215-8P2T2S ideally suited for installation in industrial environments. Layer 2 Management The Planet IGS-4215-8P2T2S features several advanced layer 2 management function that can be accessed via the intuitive web browser based management interface. Advanced features include dynamic port link aggregation, 802.1Q VLAN, Q-in-Q VLAN, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), loop and BPDU guard, IGMP snooping, and MLD snooping.
