The Rapidfire Wireless Site Alarm Interface module allows you to connect Rapidfire wireless devices to a wired fire alarm system. This may be required if an existing alarm system needs to be cost-effectively expanded or a new system needs fire detection in an area where it is impractical or impossible to wire in devices. An unlimited number of Rapidfire devices including wireless smoke detectors and wireless manual call points can be connected to a fire alarm system using the Rapidfire wireless alarm interface module. This allows you to create a flexible system that can be easily re-worked to suit your ongoing fire detection requirements. Power for the wireless interface module is received through a 12V connection from the fire alarm control panel itself. Devices wirelessly connected to the interface module will be powered through integrated batteries. Devices can be positioned up to 100m away from the interface module providing there is clear space between the units. If fire is detected the alarm will be dealt with by the fire alarm system and personnel will be made aware of the fire alarm through any sounders/flashers that are part of the system.
