PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Our Category 5e FTP patch cables are fully shielded making them ideal for installation where sources of interference may be present. The cables are terminated with a shielded RJ45 plug on both ends and made from fully screened stranded Category 5e cable which is flexible and lightweight. A screened cable helps provide a shield against interference which can be caused where data, power and other signal cables run parallel. Interference can case corruption and loss of data so it is advisable to use screened cables where dedicated containment is not available.
