PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Our 8 pin modular RJ45 plugs use a multi-purpose three point contact design suitable for both solid or stranded Category 6 UTP network cable. The contacts in the plugs have 50µ (micron) gold plating and use high purity gold which provides excellent conductivity and makes them highly corrosion resistant. The plugs are a one piece design and feature a wide cable entry suitable for high grade network cable and making installation easier. The cable channels within the plug are staggered allowing the plug to accept up to high grade 23AWG network cable and helping to reduce cross-talk from adjacent conductors. There are many inferior modular RJ45 plugs available that use poor quality contact material. This can lead to lower throughput and signal degradation over time.
