PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Our 8-pin modular shielded RJ45 plugs feature shielding against interference and a multi-purpose three-point contact design suitable for stranded Category 6 FTP network cable. The contacts in the plugs have 50µ (micron) gold plating and use high purity gold which provides excellent conductivity and makes them highly corrosion resistant. Different types of RJ45 plug contacts The plugs are a one-piece design and feature a wide cable entry suitable for high grade Category 6 network cable and making installation easier. The cable channels within the plug are staggered allowing the plug to accept up to 23AWG network cable and helping to reduce cross-talk from adjacent conductors.
